As an Author do you need a Website?
YES! Every author however they have produced their book should have a web presence.
Why?
Just think for a moment
Without a web page you are at a disadvantage. Many potential customers will search the Internet to find out about an author or book before they decide to make a purchase. You are in competition with thousands of other authors for that customer. At least make sure you are on a level playing field with those authors!
Look at your website as an extension of your business card. It’s a showcase for your book(s). This is where your potential customers can learn more about you and your book. Your website shouldn’t be limited in it’s scope. It should be a place where customers can read a sample chapter, purchase your book, read related articles, peruse your newsletter or blog, comment on your blog entries, locate related resources, play games, view photos of your recent book signings, sign up for courses, learn of your upcoming appearances and more. In fact, the more you have going on in your site, the more attention it will get from the popular search engines and the more traffic you will have.
Now I assume the reason you are here is because you don’t have a clue where to start or how to do it. That is where I come in.
I can produce for you a single page to everything I mentioned above. I can have everything set up and on line for you in days. I can manage your site for you on an ongoing basis or change and add content on an add hoc basis. The choice is yours.
I can do everything for a fixed price or you can pick and chose the options you want. The options available are here AND THERE ARE NO HIDDEN EXTRAS.
